The Art of Wooden Backgammon
Handcrafted cases in walnut, mahogany, rosewood and olive wood, made in Europe
The game of backgammon holds a special place among lovers of strategy games and games of skill. Our sets are handcrafted from quality woods — walnut, mahogany, rosewood, olive wood — and come complete with dice, dice cups and checkers. All our models are made in Europe, with an impeccable finish.
Finding your backgammon set
Classic wooden
Walnut, mahogany, elm: classic wooden backgammon sets offer a warm feel and a satisfying click of the checkers on the board. Sizes from 38 to 60 cm.
ViewLuxury & Prestige
A luxury backgammon set in walnut with hidden hinges and a magnetic closure. Fine marquetry, felt lining and weighted checkers. The exceptional case for the connoisseur.
ViewTravel
Our travel backgammon sets are compact (25-35 cm), light and foldable. Magnetic checkers or clips let you play on the move without losing a single piece.
ViewOriginal designs
The "Cigar Backgammon" in wenge for cigar lovers, the "Floral" model in black wood, or cases with inlays: unique pieces to set you apart from the ordinary.
ViewPersonalisation and sizes
📏 Choosing the size
Our backgammon sets are available from 25 cm (travel) to 60 cm (tournament). For family use, a 38-48 cm case is ideal. Tournament players will prefer a 50-60 cm model with 30-35 mm checkers.
✍ Personalised engraving
You can personalise your backgammon set with an optional engraved plate (brass-style). Initials, date, message: a truly unique gift that will be remembered.
Expert tip: Some cases have the backgammon checkers built directly into the lid — check the product page. To choose the best model, see our backgammon buying guide.
Discover our other games
Beyond backgammon, we offer a full range of quality board games: chess sets, dominoes, card games, mahjong and poker sets. Several of our cases even combine chess, backgammon and draughts in a single multi-game box.
