♟ The board
Classic draughts (French draughts) is played on a board of 100 squares (10x10) with 20 pieces per player. The English-language variant (checkers) uses a board of 64 squares (8x8) with 12 pieces per player. Our boxes are compatible with both variants.
⚔ The aim of the game
The aim is to capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them so they can no longer move. Pieces move diagonally one square and capture by jumping over an opponent's piece. A piece that reaches the last row is promoted to a "king" and can move several squares diagonally.
