Terms and conditions
To arrange the replacement of a broken piece, please contact us at [email protected] with a copy of your purchase invoice and a photograph of the damaged piece.
A return address will be sent to you within 48 hours, and you will need to post the piece to be replaced. Upon receipt, the replacement piece will be sent back to you within 7 to 10 days.
Duration: The Warranty Extension is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
Limit: The amount covered by the warranty may not exceed 15% of the value of the chess set, excluding delivery costs (based on the amount shown on the invoice issued by Le Palais des Échecs).
Force majeure
Should we be unable to replace a chess piece (for example, if the reference has been discontinued by our suppliers), we will then provide a full, unconditional refund of the warranty purchased.
Choosing the right board size
A beautiful chess set rests on a simple balance: pieces well proportioned to the size of the squares. To choose a harmonious board, the most reliable guide is the diameter of the king's base.
Key guideline: ideally, the king's base takes up about 75% of the square.
