Hand-carved with bevelled chisels, carving knives and mallets, guided by sensitive and skilful hands that give shape and life to the wood.
Wood from the Alpine forests is best suited to carving. The raw wood is cut, sawn into planks and then reduced into small blocks matching the dimensions of the sculpture to be created.

The expert craftsman uses a pantograph to turn the wooden blocks into rough sculpture shapes. These are then worked by hand down to the smallest detail.

The result is a true work of art: a chess set in natural, untreated solid wood. All too rarely celebrated, these passionate sculptors offer you the chance to own a truly unique, exceptionally high-quality chess set.
