Classic XVI Set – Chess Board with Storage in Maple and Golden Rosewood with Golden Rosewood Chess Pieces

These classic, Staunton-style wooden chess pieces are crafted from a noble golden rosewood.

This set is entirely hand-carved and hand-polished by our Italian craftsman, who specialises in making chess sets.

They come with an inlaid chess board in maple and golden rosewood, featuring two storage drawers beneath the playing surface. Each piece has its own individual storage space, making it easy to keep your chess set tidy and protected from knocks.

This complete chess set is made by an Italian craftsman we have worked with for years, for whom quality of materials and finish go hand in hand – you won’t be disappointed with the result.
