Leningrad Set – Mahogany Wood Chess Board and Ebonised Boxwood Chess Set

These handcrafted chess pieces are entirely hand-carved in boxwood for the ivory figures and have been ebonised for the black figures.

They are large-sized, with a king height of 10 cm, and their carvings are beautiful, particularly the knight. They are well weighted and feature felt beneath their base, making them a pleasure to handle.

They come with a mahogany wood chess board measuring 48 x 48 cm (5 cm squares), whose wood tone pairs perfectly with this Staunton chess set.

A large wooden chess set with a beautifully finished touch. Please note that the set includes two extra queens for playing pawn promotion.

If you choose to give this set as a gift, you can select the “plaque engraving” option and add a personalised message for a truly unique chess set gift.
