A chess set combining wood and metal with Roman-inspired busts.
The size of the pieces and their wooden base give this set an extra touch of distinction. Notice the care given to the figures’ faces, crafted by hand by our artisans.
The matching chess board is made from wood-coloured faux leather, crafted entirely by hand in Italy. Note that it includes an individual storage compartment for each chess piece, built into the board itself.
A large set combining several materials, crafted with care by an Italian artisan we have worked with for several years and from whom we have always received excellent feedback.

Choosing the right board size
A beautiful chess set rests on a simple balance: pieces well proportioned to the size of the squares. To choose a harmonious board, the most reliable guide is the diameter of the king's base.
Key guideline: ideally, the king's base takes up about 75% of the square.
