Staunton Design III Chess Set with Maple and Briar Wood Chess Board and Metal and Wood Chess Pieces

The chess pieces are carved in wood and metal in a classic Staunton style, though their design has been given a modern touch with black and white tones.

They come with a superb maple and briar wood chess board, of standard size, finished in glossy grey, which beautifully sets off the chess pieces.

A design chess set that remains true to a classic style, made by an Italian craftsman specialising in the making of decorative chess sets.

If you choose to give this modern chess set as a gift, you can select the “engraved plaque” option to personalise the chess board with a message or a date, for example, making your gift truly unique.
