Black DGT bag for storing a chess clock, pieces and accessories, stated to fit all DGT clocks. The clock is not included.
DGT presents this bag as a way to keep your chess equipment safe and tidy, whether travelling or at home. It is designed to fit all DGT clocks, with an adjustable strap that holds the clock in place, and an adjustable fitting that adapts to different clock sizes.
DGT states that the bag is also suitable for chess pieces and other accessories. An additional inner pocket holds manuals, cables and small items, such as pens.
The interior is padded to protect the clock and pieces from knocks and scratches. The double zip closure gives quick, secure access. A sturdy handle is provided for carrying.
The bag measures 8 × 20 × 12.5 cm, in hard-wearing black fabric. DGT gives these dimensions under the heading “Size” without specifying whether they are the outer or inner measurements: take them as an approximate guide. It is sold without a clock and without pieces. For storing several clocks at once, for example for a club, DGT offers an aluminium case designed to hold ten.

I'm not a big fan of buying this kind of product online, I like to see it before buying. But honestly nowadays it's become almost impossible to find a nice traditional chess set in shops. So I ordered a wooden model online and I'm really pleased with my purchase. The set is very pretty, the pieces are beautiful and it looks great in the living room. We play regularly with my husband and the rest of the time it's almost like decoration. The only small complaint I could make is that there isn't a huge choice of storage boxes when you have pieces that aren't Staunton. Otherwise nothing to say, very satisfied.

I ordered a complete chess set and unfortunately the black king arrived broken, despite the parcel being very well packaged. I sent an email to customer service with a photo of the broken piece. They replied quickly and sent me a new king free of charge. The new piece arrived a few days later, very well protected and this time no issues at all. It can happen that a piece breaks during transport, even when well packaged. What matters most is the seller's reaction when there's a problem. And honestly, nothing to fault, it was simple and quick. Very satisfied with the after-sales service from Le Palais des Échecs.
