DGT developed this as a storage solution for its chess clocks. It can hold up to ten clocks, each individually protected by foam. A rigid exterior and a padded interior keep them safe during transport.
The lock is accessible: it keeps the clocks secure while still allowing quick access. The case is carried by the handle on top. It measures 44 × 37 × 17 cm, in silver-grey metal and plastic. In DGT's photos, the lid has honeycomb foam and the clocks lie flat in separate compartments.
DGT presents it as a universal solution for its clocks, naming eight models: DGT 1500, DGT 3000, DGT 2500, DGT Echo, DGT 2010, DGT XL, DGT North American and DGT Easy. DGT's list does not include the DGT 1000 series clocks: for these, this listing makes no promise.

I'm not a big fan of buying this kind of product online, I like to see it before buying. But honestly nowadays it's become almost impossible to find a nice traditional chess set in shops. So I ordered a wooden model online and I'm really pleased with my purchase. The set is very pretty, the pieces are beautiful and it looks great in the living room. We play regularly with my husband and the rest of the time it's almost like decoration. The only small complaint I could make is that there isn't a huge choice of storage boxes when you have pieces that aren't Staunton. Otherwise nothing to say, very satisfied.

They replied quickly and sent me a new king free of charge. The new piece arrived a few days later, very well protected and this time no issues at all. It can happen that a piece breaks during transport, even when well packaged. What matters most is the seller's reaction when there's a problem.
