Enough to equip twenty players
The Club Pack is designed for club managers, teachers or coaches who need to set up a group: ten boards and ten sets of pieces, meaning ten games at once, so twenty players. DGT designed it for organising friendly club tournaments, with equipment in tournament dimensions. Buying a pack avoids putting together ten sets one by one, and the boards and pieces are matched from the outset.
Equipment built for regular use
The pieces are made of sturdy plastic, with a weight that DGT says makes play enjoyable. The boards are made of dense, laminated card: DGT states they are designed for repeated use without losing their appearance. They measure 48.2 cm per side, with 5.5 cm squares, a size DGT recommends for pieces with a 9.5 cm king height.
Ten identical playing stations
Each table receives a 48.2 cm board and a complete set of 32 pieces. All ten sets are identical: a lost piece can be replaced with one from another set, and tidying up at the end of a session requires no sorting between different models.
Limitations to be aware of
This pack is traditional, non-electronic equipment: it cannot record games or connect to a computer. It does not include chess clocks. The boards are made of card, not wood.
